Fundamental Polymer Rheology Enabling Next Generation Technologies – A Rheology-focused Workshop in Honor of Professor Don Baird
My name is Ren Xie, a new assistant professor at Arizona State University with a research focus on polymer rheology and physics. Dr. Tim Long (CC’d here) and I are organizing a rheology-focused workshop at the Arizona State University on April 21-22 in honor of the retirement of Dr. Don Baird (Virginia Tech). We hope you can help us broadcast this exciting workshop on the European SoR platform or other news outlets.
As seen in the attached flyer, we have confirmed an impressive list of 13 in-person speakers, including Dr. Ralph Colby, Dr. Ron Larson, Dr. Gareth McKinley, Dr. Gerry Fuller, Dr. Jonathan Seppala and many more. This workshop also features a hybrid mode to encourage worldwide virtual participation at no cost. The registration link is included in the flyer. The only «payment» is to specify your favorite rheology-oriented article and a critical research challenge for the field during registration, and this input will be collected and shared with the registrants.
Then, upon registration, you will receive a detailed agenda of the lecture titles and times in the confirmation email. A zoom link will be provided to the registrants prior to the event. Although no registration deadline is set in order to maximize our audience, early registration is strongly encouraged.
Please let us know if you could help and any other questions you may have.
We look forward to your response.
Best,
Ren
