El 18th International Congress on Rheology se celebrará, definitivamente, de forma virtual los días 13-18 de diciembre de 2020. Se recoge aquí comunicado del Comité Organizador.
Dear ICR 2020 participants,
In view of the current situation of the COVID-19 pandemic in Brazil and in rest of the world, the Organizing Committee of ICR 2020, in agreement with the officers of the International Committee on Rheology and other eminent members of the international rheology community, understood that it would be impossible to hold the ICR 2020 in person, as previously planned.
A first attempt to accommodate the pandemic effects was made when we postponed the event to December 2020. However, uncertainties remain, and in view of this rather unusual situation we realized that the only safe decision to make is to change to the virtual format.
We understand that this change will alter the face of the event. On the other hand, we will work hard to maintain the dissemination of new ideas, research results, and exhibitors information in the same level of the previous ones.
We are currently defining new deadlines, fees, programs and the platform to be used. As soon as we have the new information we will update the Conference Website.
